At 11:05pm on March 15, 2017 the Coral Springs/Parkland CERT team was called upon to assist the CSPD in the search for a 9 year old boy. Over a dozen members from the team responded to the command post to receive their assignments for searching. The team spent 3 hours along with the CSPD, Papa Unit (Helicopter) and Bloodhound until the CSPD called off the search. The missing boy was found safely early Thursday morning. A big THANK YOU goes out to the dedicated volunteers that came out late on a chilly Florida evening to help in the search.
