Coral Springs, FL- The Coral Springs Parkland CERT team recently received a generous donation of over $500.00 from the Coral Springs Charter School Health Occupations Students of America Club, (HOSA). Charter School student and CERT member Scott Smith suggested the fundraiser. Students routinely raise money for various worthy organizations. CERT Program Chief Joe Chalom was honored that Coral Springs Parkland CERT was selected as a recipient of this fundraiser. Fire Chief Michael McNally expressed his appreciation to the Charter School Team who raised the funds and to the volunteers of Coral Springs Parkland CERT who provide a valuable service to the community.
