Home Depot Annual Safety Event 2017

Just to update you on the Safety Day planning for this Saturday- lots of good news:

1. Our Police Department and Emergency Management staff will have some personnel here to provide hurricane preparedness, crime prevention, bicycle safety and information on the police department’s services. They will have officers stop by but will have two personnel here with materials.

2. We will have a Car seat station, Fire Safety Trailer for children, and information on home fire safety, drowning prevention and our other safety programs.

3. We will have our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) there, and we will also have Engines and Rescue units stopping by between calls for tours and photo opportunities.

4. We will need another table for the CPR manikins and CERT display, and information on Pulse Point and CPR lessons, as well as other info we give out. 

We are also locking in our Fire Prevention kickoff for the First Saturday in October,  10/ 7/ 2017.
